Sölufélag Austur Húnvetninga (SAH) employs around 20 people year round and hires around 50 people for the slaughtering season.

The slaughtering season lasts approximately from the middle of July until the end of October, depending on market and customer demands. So far, we have had people working for us primarily from Sweden and Poland, but also from other countries. Some of them have joined us for summer jobs several years in a row.
